  • AMAN Plan: The medical expenses incurred by your domestic helper at private hospitals
  • Policy buyer must be the sponsor of the Domestic Helper
  • The insured is a Domestic Helper: Housemaids, Nannies, Babysitters, Cooks, Gardeners & Drivers
  • Domestic Helper must be under the age of 60
  • Domestic Helper must be residing in Bahrain
Two levels of coverage are provided, as outlined below:
AMAN Plan
Annual Maximum Limit BHD 2,000 per person per year
Territorial Limit Bahrain
In-Patient & Day Care Covered (subject to 3 months waiting period for surgical procedures)
Outpatient 500 per person per year
Consultation General practitioner (GP) (Specialist/Consultant upon referral by GP)
Diagnostic Procedures (X-ray & Laboratory tests) Covered (Subject to Approval)
Pharmacy Generic Medications only and following a prescription by the treating Doctor
Deductible Per Consultation 5
Pre-Existing and chronic conditions Not covered
Dental: Limited to consultation, amalgam filling,simple extraction & medications BHD 60 per person per year
Coinsurance applicable on Dental treatment 20%
Maternity: limited to 9 prenatal visits and 1 postnatal visit BHD 100 per member per year
Coinsurance applicable on maternity treatment 20%
